Es dauerte 27 Jahre, bis ich diesen Song fertig schreiben konnte. Ich scheiterte damals an der Bridge. Unzählige Versionen. Dann verliebte ich mich neu und vergaß den Song. NOTHING TO LOSE landete in der Schublade, für 27 Jahre.
Als ich dich nach so langer Zeit wieder sah, fiel mir alles wieder ein. Ich spürte, dass ich endlich beenden musste, was ich 1998 begonnen hatte. Niemals hätte ich auch nur zu träumen gewagt, diesen Song irgendwann einmal mit dieser gefühlvollen Stimme von Verena Pötzl hören zu dürfen.
